With new albums from BTS, BLACKPINK, Stray Kids, ATEEZ and more set for 2026, the charts are no doubt going to be consistently shaken up by major K-pop releases throughout this year.
While BTS broke ground as the first K-pop act to earn a Top 10 album in 2017 — and set new sales records up til 2020 — acts like Stray Kids, ATEEZ, BLACKPINK, TWICE, SuperM, Tomorrow X Together, SEVENTEEN, and even the BTS members themselves have all made plays massive gains with multiple chart-topping albums in the year since.
Using Billboard’s Luminate data from every K-pop artist to reach the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, as well as some HitsDailyDouble reporting for some entries and other available sales data, this will be an ongoing updated database of the top-selling K-pop album release weeks to date. Currently, each album is only listed once with its largest sales week noted on the chart.
